Tumble-Stones are a charming critter sold at most amusement parks and gift stores. Without the need for food or water, they make the perfect low-risk companion for young Starlits who want a pet, but who aren't ready for the responsibility of a real pet.

 

These stones are brought to life via the Sentience spell and are a popular gift, Some are simple rocks, some are semi-precious gems, and some even decide to paint cute designs on them! Most shops sell them as regular inert stones, and upon purchase cast the spell to bring them to life right there in front of you!

 

They are a very simple minded creature, not capable of much more than bumbling around in the palm of your hand. Though their mobile nature does mean that they get lost easily if proper care is not given to stop them from wandering away. Some enthusiasts build elaborate enclosures, however as far as the Tumble-Stones themselves are concerned, their content with just a cardboard box and a bit of dirt.
