STARKINS
Vice Influences
By coming in close proximity with Vices, Starlits and Starkin can begin to take on a closer appearance to them. To obtain these, simply draw your Starkin coming across the corresponding Vice.

A month after gaining the first influence, your Starkin can either be cured of the influence or progress to the next stage. (In flavor text, it's up to them receiving therapy or letting the emotions become worse.) You can depict them without it after the month and mention it's addition or removal as you would normal upgrade applications.

Your Starkin is also able to obtain influences from multiple vices. These will still have the month cooldown between applications. (Sorrow stage 1 starting, then adding Wrath stage 1 after a month, Sorrow stage 2 a month after Wrath's application, etc.)

After reaching the third stage, they can either cure any upgrade each month, or keep all three. They can be completely cured regardless of how far the influence has progressed. You also do not need to cure these in order. You can have Stage 3 without Stage 1 or 2.

Once a Vice influence has been cured, the "upgrade" disappears completely!

The color of each influence are typical that of the Starkin's magic, but this isn't always the case.
-
Stage 1: Eyes are affected. The first sign of a vice influence.
-
Stage 2: The wings are changed and rendered flightless. Guardians are affected if a Starlit is afflicted with the influence. Guardians can still float due to magic, but seem sluggish.
-
Stage 3: An abyss forms in the chest or other parts of the body. It's dark and spews magic endlessly and dangerously.

Everflowing Tears

Liquid flows freely forever from any of your Starkin's eyes.
Scrawny Ends

All of your Starkin's wings lose their webbing or feathers around scrawny and boney digits.
Fountain of Tears

Swooping scales form around an abyss which leaks pure magic in a liquid form continuously.
