History of Urroa

The world of Urroa came to be long ago, back when the world was vast and empty, with nothing but the Sun and the Moon. The world stayed like this until one day, the Sun and Moon decided that there needed to be something. For the world to be so vast and yet so empty made everything so sad. So Lonely. So they made the world and all its beauty, and they created Life.

 

As time went on, more life came into being in that world. Filling the trees with bird song, and the waters with the splash of fish. And the Life the Sun and Moon had made, created some life themselves. This life is what came to be known as the Starkins. As time went on though, and with each little Starkin made, Life grew more and more tired, and had to rest. So with a tearfilled goodbye to their beloved Starkins, Life climbed deep into the center of a large mountain range, and fell asleep. 

 

This broke the hearts of all the Starkins. For a while, they didn’t know what to do. Many wanted to wait for Life to wake up, while many wondered if they should go down and sleep with them. But finally, they came to a conclusion. To waste the gift given to them would be the greatest sadness and shame. So they all ventured out to different corners of the world, finding adventure and joy to fill their life with. 

 

Many though, decided to stay. Building their home and life in the very mountain range where Life fell asleep. It was this home that over time slowly grew and grew, until it became a great kingdom. And they couldn’t think of a better name for it, than the very name of the Life that brought them into being; Duvayl.
